DESCRIPTION:The Designer Biology ’25 meeting will be the fifth edition of
  this event co-organised by the European Federation of Biotechnology (EFB)
  Bioengineering and Bioprocessing Division and the EFB Biobased Materials 
 Division. The event will be held on 29-31 July 2025 in Newcastle upon Tyne
 \, UK.\n\nThe Designer Biology meeting brings together young and establish
 ed scientists working in the fields of bioengineering\, synthetic biology\
 , and biomaterials. The attendees discuss different applications ranging f
 rom the engineering of proteins to the engineering of functionalized mater
 ials. While the larger umbrella used in these fields is similar\, the spec
 ific aspects are different\, and the aim is to bring different disciplines
  together in one meeting to strongly benefit the bioengineering community 
 at large and give rise to synergies and opportunities for new collaboratio
 ns.\n\nAbstract submission and early bird registration deadline by 15 May
