DESCRIPTION:The Environmental Biotechnology Division of the European Federa
 tion of Biotechnology (EFB) is organising the Green Deal Biotechnology co
 nference in Poland. The meeting will take place on 6-8 November 2023 in Po
 znań\, one of the oldest Polish cities.\n\nIt will be the first EFB live 
 meeting focusing on the circular bioeconomy\, which is currently in line w
 ith modern economic and scientific trends. The Green Deal Biotechnology Co
 nference will highlight the latest advances in achieving a circular econom
 y in which environmental biotechnology plays a major role.\n\nThe conferen
 ce programme will focus in seven major challenges:\n\n 	Recovery of resour
 ces\, including rare resources and novel bio-based value chains\n 	Healthy
  soil and food security\n 	Bioelectrochemistry for energy and water recove
 ry\n 	Wastewater treatment\n 	Nanotechnology in environmental biotechnolog
 y\n 	Marine biotechnology\n 	Emerging micropollutants in aquatic and terre
 strial environments\n\nAbstract submission is open until 31 July 2023. On
